Nothing much about nothing

It is Tuesday, January 27th and I really have nothing to say,,,, "one for the records huh?" Not too much has been going on around here lately. The job is going well. The weather has been cooperating with the work plans. They are on schedule (which is great).
The weather has been nice. I think the snow is over for the year! =( We didn't do too much skiing. The mornings are still very chilly (low 20's) and the afternoons get up to about 55-65. Tonight it is supposed to get into the teens. Brrrr
The gas is going back up again. 1.79/gallon, which is still great!!!
Kids are doing great.... Derek received straight A's on his mid-terms at college. He is enjoying the college life. Nikki is realizing that motherhood is harder than it looks. Tyler is going to be 2 soon and we all know what that means~~~Shannon is enjoying her membership to the YMCA that DC bought for her at Christmas. They both hit the gym every morning and she loves it. Wonder where she gets that from???? Still trying to figure that one out!

Will check back in soon.
Hello to Angie and Greg who like to read my posts! Looking forward to sharing the new season of Nascar with you!

Happy New Year

Well its now 2009. I hope that this year will bring as much joy and happiness to my life as 2008. I love living in NM. I love my job. I love being able to spend time with Tyler every 6-8 weeks. I love living in the RV (which people may think is wierd), but it is so cozy and its nice.

Dan and I are very fortunate that we both have secure jobs. The way the ecomony is today, we are both so lucky!

We visited Pensacola, Fl. this Christmas. We stayed at Shannon's house for 4 days, and had a great time. We visited Derek's condo along the beach. He shares it with a friend and it is very nicec. He only lives 10 minutes from Shannon,he spent most of those 4 days with us. Nikki, Joey, and Tyler also spent 3 days in Fl. enjoying Christmas.

Dougie, Kelly and Jess & Denny arrived on Friday and stayed with us until Sunday. That was so nice. Shannon had tons of great food and she always kept us fed. Her and DC were wonderful Hosts and Hostess's.

We went to a haunted Lighthouse. We went to a place called Flora-Bama. It is a unique little resturant on the Florida-Alabama border, we all enjoyed a beer on the beach while Tyler enjoyed the sand. We also had fun playing a card game that Shannon and DC got for Christmas called "Apples for Apples.

It was so nice to spend the holiday with our family.
